JOB TITLE: Bandstand Operations ManagerAssistant

LOCATED: Bandstand-Holme Green, Regent’s Park & Broadwalk Bandstand across from Broadwalk Cafe

REPORTING TO: Bandstand  Operations Manager

BACKGROUND:

The programme for 2023 will begin on June 17th and end on September 17th, the dates over which coverage is required

There will be concerts on the Holme Green Bandstand every Sunday from 12:00 to 5:00 pm (in two sessions from 12:00 to 2:00 and 3:00 to 5:00) as well as the August bank holiday. There will also be concerts on Saturdays from 2:00 to 4:00 on the Broadwalk Bandstand across from the Broadwalk Cafe.

There is a requirement for a Bandstand Operations Assistant(s) on each concert day. The role will be based at Holme Green, the location of the Bandstand on Sundays/Bank Holiday Monday and on Saturdays at the Broadwalk Bandstand. They will be contactable by mobile phone. The hours are 1 pm to 4:30 pm on Saturdays and two shifts on Sunday/Bank Holiday Monday 11:30 pm to 2:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

JOB PURPOSE:

• To support the activities of the Bandstand Operations Manager
• To help in case of emergencies

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• To help erect and take down the banners attached to the Bandstand rails
• To video a single piece for the band playing  using your mobile phone
• Use clicker to record approximately how many in audience (count taken at 1:00, 2:00, 4:00 and 5:00 pm)
• To hand out flyers to the audience
• It is important that the Bandstand Operations Manager Assistant(s) has a mobile phone in case of emergencies, this will not be provided
